We are partnering with a growing and vibrant audit and accounting practice in Sunningdale to find an eager-to-learn individual to join their annual financial statements team.
Key Performance Areas:
Compile annual financial statements from trial balance to completed statements.
Prepare year-end journals, current tax computations, and deferred tax calculations.
Reconcile balance sheet lines and clear queries directly with clients.
Perform and document independent review engagements.
Assist senior clerks on audit engagements during peak periods.
Requirements:
BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6 or higher (completed SAIPA or SAICA training contract counts in your favour, and candidates partway through a SAIPA contract are welcome).
At least two years of experience in an accounting or auditing practice compiling annual financial statements.
Working knowledge of the IFRS for SMEs Accounting Standard and solid Excel skills.
Own reliable transport for this office-based position and valid South African citizenship, permanent residence, or work permit.
