Shift Pursuit has partnered with an Accounting, Auditing, and Advisory firm that is looking for a capable Audit Senior who has completed SAICA articles and is based in Pretoria. This role offers the opportunity to gain strong exposure to both audit and accounting, while working with an experienced team and supporting clients in improving their business processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
BCom Accounting or similar related degree
Completed SAICA articles
3+ years of audit and accounting experience
Ability to do audit planning
Accounting software experience
Key Performance Areas:
Perform basic audit tests and procedures
Plan and execute audits
Review audit workpapers
Manage audit projects and client portfolio
Evaluation of budget vs actual income
Preparing audit reports
Assessing and evaluating client’s annual financial statements
Reviewing of the general ledger, trial balance and performing reconciliation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
Gain exposure to various accounting systems and software
Support senior team members in ad-hoc tasks and projects
