A company based in Pretoria North is seeking a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper with 3–5 years of experience to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the smooth running of financial operations within a dynamic business environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the company’s accounting function and ensuring financial processes are handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Performance Areas:
Assist Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are captured correctly.
Perform reconciliations including bank and supplier accounts.
Assist with general bookkeeping duties and financial administration.
Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with month-end processes.
Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and accounting standards.
Work closely with management to maintain accurate financial information.
Utilise the company’s accounting system for daily financial processing.
Requirements:
Bookkeeping qualification.
3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans, as business communication is often conducted in Afrikaans.
Experience with BuildSmart (a construction industry accounting system) would be highly advantageous; however, candidates willing to learn the system are encouraged to apply.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
