Key Performance Areas:
Participate in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and IFRS.
Perform substantive audit procedures, control testing, and analytical reviews, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate audit working papers and supporting documentation within agreed timelines.
Review selected work of junior team members and provide guidance and on-the-job support where required.
Build and maintain effective client relationships through professional communication and responsiveness.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Manage general ledger reconciliations, journals, and support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting
Requirements:
Completed or busy with SAICA articles.
A degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
