Our client, a well-established accounting and advisory firm based in Pretoria, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who has completed their SAIPA articles and is looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will be exposed to a diverse portfolio of clients and will play an integral role in delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services.
Requirements:
Completed relevant accounting degree (BCom or equivalent).
Completed SAIPA articles.
Eligibility for registration as a Professional Accountant (SA) will be advantageous.
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
Based in Pretoria East or willing to work in the area.
Key Performance Areas:
Manage the full accounting function for a portfolio of clients.
Prepare monthly management accounts.
Draft annual financial statements.
Handle SARS submissions, including VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax returns.
Liaise with clients and resolve accounting and tax-related queries.
Ensure all client deadlines are met accurately and timeously.
Maintain high standards of professionalism and client service.
