An established accounting and bookkeeping firm in Montana Park, Pretoria, is looking for a motivated SAIPA Clerk to join their team.
Key Performance Areas:
Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting functions for various clients
Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records
Supporting senior team members with client accounting requirements
Working with accounting software including Pastel and Sage
Assisting with payroll-related functions where required
Preparing and maintaining accurate accounting documentation
Assisting with client-related accounting queries
Collecting and delivering accounting records and books to and from clients when required
Providing general administrative and accounting support
Developing practical accounting skills in line with SAIPA training requirements
Requirements:
Currently studying towards a BCom Accounting degree part-time, or have completed an Accounting Degree and wish to commence SAIPA Articles
Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Email
Knowledge of Pastel, Sage and/or Payroll will be advantageous
Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience advantageous
Eager to learn and develop within the accounting profession
Reliable, responsible and hardworking
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
