Tax Administrator – Cape Town

Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator with experience in tax and SARS processes? If yes, then this Tax Administrator opportunity may be suitable for you. Shift Pursuit is partnering with a client, based in Durbanville, to appoint a motivated individual to support their tax and accounting department.

Key Performance Areas:

• Assisting with administration of the tax function
• Managing SARS eFiling, registrations, deregistration, and updates
• Handling SARS correspondence and queries
• Preparing and gathering documentation for tax processes
• Supporting ad hoc tax and administrative tasks
• Liaising with clients, SARS consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with Department of Labour (DOL) processes where required

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 2–3 years’ experience in a tax or accounting environment
• Proficiency in SARS eFiling and SARS procedures
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Advantageous:

• Greatsoft tax administration experience
• Exposure to Department of Labour processes
• Experience with uFiling
