We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our client’s team in Bellville, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have strong SARS eFiling experience, good tax compliance knowledge and confidence managing a portfolio of clients.
Key Performance Areas:
Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
Manage and respond to SARS queries, including verifications and related correspondence.
Ensure all tax submissions and compliance matters are kept up to date.
Manage client matters on SARS eFiling.
Manage and maintain a portfolio of tax clients.
Prepare and process billing for tax services rendered.
Assist with general tax compliance matters as required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or similar relevant qualification.
Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling is essential.
Previous experience managing a portfolio of tax clients.
Previous articles experience would be advantageous.
Registration as a Tax Practitioner would be advantageous.
Experience with GreatSoft would be advantageous.
Experience with BSharp would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication and client management skills.
